अत्यंत भारी हृदय से विद्यालय परिवार यह सूचित करता है कि राजकीय उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय, जेठन्तरी के पूर्व प्रधानाध्यापक एवं जाने-माने समाजसेवी स्वर्गीय श्री नगाराम जी चौधरी का 14 अप्रैल 2026 को स्वर्गवास हो गया। उनके निधन से न केवल उनके परिवार को, बल्कि जेठन्तरी के शिक्षा-जगत को अपूरणीय क्षति हुई है। विद्यालय की क्रमोन्नती एवं प्रगति-पथ पर चलने की दिशा में उनका योगदान सदैव स्मरणीय रहेगा।
🕯️ मौन सभा — 15 अप्रैल 2026
विद्यालय में आज प्रातः मौन सभा आयोजित की गई। प्रधानाचार्य श्री सुशील कुमार शर्मा, समस्त शिक्षक-वृंद, कर्मचारी एवं विद्यार्थियों ने दो मिनट के मौन के साथ स्वर्गीय गुरुदेव को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। सभा में उनकी स्मृति में पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की गई तथा पूर्व-शिक्षकों एवं पुराने विद्यार्थियों ने उनके योगदान का स्मरण किया।
विद्यालय की क्रमोन्नती में योगदान — 1990 का दशक
विद्यालय की स्थापना तो काफ़ी पहले हो चुकी थी, परंतु उसे क्रमोन्नती एवं प्रगति-पथ पर आगे ले जाने में 1990 के दशक में श्री नगाराम जी चौधरी का योगदान ऐतिहासिक रहा। जब उन्होंने प्रधानाध्यापक के रूप में विद्यालय की बागडोर संभाली, तब उन्होंने इसे एक नई दिशा दी — जिसकी नींव पर आज GSSS जेठन्तरी खड़ा है: सैकड़ों विद्यार्थी, सशक्त शिक्षक-वृंद, संविधान-चेतना के कार्यक्रम, बोर्ड परिणामों में गौरव।
उस समय जेठन्तरी जैसे गाँव में एक उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय को क्रमशः उन्नत करना कोई सहज कार्य नहीं था। संसाधनों की सीमाएँ, आधुनिक विद्यालय-भवन का अभाव, शिक्षकों की कमी — इन सभी चुनौतियों के बीच गुरुदेव ने अपनी निष्ठा, परिश्रम और दूरदर्शिता से विद्यालय को एक जीवंत शैक्षणिक केंद्र के रूप में विकसित किया। घर-घर जाकर विद्यार्थियों को नामांकित करना, अभिभावकों को शिक्षा का महत्व समझाना, स्थानीय समुदाय को विद्यालय से जोड़ना — यह सब उन्हीं के कुशल नेतृत्व का प्रतिफल है।
आदरणीय गुरुदेव के अविस्मरणीय योगदान
- क्रमोन्नत्यात्मक नेतृत्व — प्रधानाध्यापक के रूप में विद्यालय को क्रमशः उन्नत कर आज के सुदृढ़ शैक्षणिक संस्थान की दिशा में ले जाना।
- समुदाय से आत्मीय सम्बन्ध — अभिभावकों, पंचायत एवं ग्राम-जनों को विद्यालय-परिवार के साथ आत्मीयता से जोड़कर इसे "गाँव की अपनी पाठशाला" बनाना।
- शैक्षणिक अनुशासन — दृढ़ किन्तु स्नेहमय अनुशासन, जो आज भी पूर्व-विद्यार्थियों के हृदय में जीवंत है।
- शिक्षक-संस्कृति का पोषण — सहकर्मी शिक्षकों के लिए ऐसा वातावरण निर्मित किया, जहाँ अध्यापन केवल वृत्ति नहीं अपितु एक पावन सेवा बना।
- छात्र-चरित्र-निर्माण — नैतिक मूल्यों, राष्ट्र-प्रेम एवं सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व की दीक्षा देकर अनेक पीढ़ियों को जीवन-दिशा दी।
- सेवा-निवृत्ति — पूरे सेवा-काल में अपना सर्वस्व इसी विद्यालय को समर्पित कर, यहीं से गौरवपूर्ण सेवा-निवृत्ति प्राप्त की।
- समाजसेवा — विद्यालय से सेवा-निवृत्त होने के उपरांत भी समाज के उत्थान हेतु निरंतर सक्रिय रहे।
एक आदर्श शिक्षक
आदरणीय गुरुदेव की पहचान केवल एक प्रशासक के रूप में नहीं थी — वे पहले शिक्षक थे, तदुपरांत प्रधानाध्यापक। स्वयं कक्षाओं में जाकर अध्यापन करना, प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी का नाम स्मरण रखना, दुर्बल विद्यार्थियों को विशेष समय एवं स्नेह देना — यह उनकी दैनिक साधना थी। उनके लिए प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी एक सम्भावना, एक पुष्प-कली था जिसे वे अपनी साधना से पल्लवित करते थे।
गुरुदेव, आपका स्नेह सदा साथ रहेगा
मेरी सम्पूर्ण विद्या-यात्रा का प्रथम दीपक स्वर्गीय आदरणीय श्री नगाराम जी चौधरी के हाथों प्रज्वलित हुआ। आज जब मैं इसी विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य के रूप में उन्हें अंतिम विदाई दे रहा हूँ, तो बीते दिनों का एक-एक क्षण मेरे नेत्रों के समक्ष तैर रहा है।
जब मैंने एक शिक्षक के रूप में अपना पहला कदम इसी विद्यालय में रखा, तब आदरणीय गुरुदेव ही मेरे प्रथम मार्गदर्शक बने। उसके उपरांत सेवा-काल ने मुझे अनेक पदों की ओर अग्रसर किया — वरिष्ठ अध्यापक, व्याख्याता, उप-प्रधानाचार्य, और आज प्रधानाचार्य — और नियति की विचित्रता यह है कि प्रत्येक पदोन्नति के पश्चात्, हर बार, मैं पुनः इसी विद्यालय में, उन्हीं की छत्रछाया एवं सान्निध्य में लौटता रहा। उनका स्नेह, उनका निर्देशन एवं उनका अनुशासन मेरे सम्पूर्ण सेवा-जीवन की आधारशिला है।
वे मेरे लिए केवल एक वरिष्ठ सहकर्मी नहीं, एक गुरु, एक अभिभावक एवं एक आदर्श थे। उनकी रिक्तता मैं प्रतिदिन अनुभव करूँगा — परन्तु उनकी सीख, उनकी निष्ठा एवं उनकी दूरदर्शी दृष्टि इस विद्यालय की प्रत्येक ईंट में अमर रहेगी।

पूर्व-विद्यार्थियों की स्मृति में
आज दिनभर सोशल मीडिया एवं दूरभाष पर उनके अनेक पूर्व-विद्यार्थियों — जो आज चिकित्सक, शिक्षक, कृषक, अधिकारी, उद्यमी आदि रूप में देश-भर में राष्ट्र-सेवा में संलग्न हैं — ने अपनी हार्दिक श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। सभी की एक ही भावना थी: "आदरणीय गुरुदेव के बिना आज हम जहाँ हैं, वहाँ नहीं होते।"
"वृक्ष अपनी छाया स्वयं के लिए नहीं, दूसरों के लिए रचता है।" — आदरणीय गुरुदेव ऐसे ही एक विशाल वट-वृक्ष थे, जिनकी शीतल छाया में अनेक पीढ़ियाँ संस्कारित हुईं।

आज की मौन सभा में सम्पूर्ण विद्यालय परिवार ने यह विनम्र संकल्प लिया कि आदरणीय गुरुदेव द्वारा रोपित शिक्षा, अनुशासन एवं सेवा के उन्नत मूल्यों को हम अपने दैनिक आचरण में अंगीकार कर, और भी दृढ़ता से आगे ले जाएँगे। उनका पुण्य योगदान सदा-सर्वदा इस संस्था की स्मृति एवं चेतना में देदीप्यमान रहेगा।

With deep sorrow, the school family informs that Late Shri Nagaram ji Choudhary — former Headmaster of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Jethantri and a well-known social servant — attained the heavenly abode on 14 April 2026. His passing is an irreplaceable loss not only to his family but to the entire educational community of Jethantri. His contributions to the progressive upgradation and path of progress of this school will remain ever-memorable.
🕯️ Moun Sabha (Silent Assembly) — 15 April 2026
A silent assembly was held in the school this morning. Principal Shri Sushil Kumar Sharma, the entire teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students observed two minutes of silence in tribute. Floral offerings were made and former teachers and alumni shared memories of his contributions.
Contributions to the school's progressive upgradation — the 1990s
The school itself had been established earlier, but it was in the 1990s — under the stewardship of Shri Nagaram ji Choudhary as Headmaster — that it began its journey of progressive upgradation (कर्मोन्नती) and steady progress. He gave this institution a new direction, upon which the GSSS Jethantri of today rests: hundreds of students, a strong faculty, constitutional-awareness programmes and pride in board results.
Progressively upgrading a school in a village like Jethantri was no easy task in those years — limited resources, no modern building, staff shortages. Through his dedication, untiring labour and far-sighted vision, Sir nurtured this institution into a living centre of learning. Walking door-to-door to enrol students, convincing parents of the value of education, weaving the local community into the school — each of these is the fruit of his able leadership.
Revered Sir's unforgettable contributions
- Upward-progressive leadership — as Headmaster, he took the school on a path of step-by-step upgradation towards today's robust institution.
- Heart-felt community bond — he wove parents, the panchayat and villagers into the school family, truly making it "the village's own school".
- Academic discipline — firm yet affectionate — a quality still vivid in the hearts of older students.
- Nurturing a culture of teaching — he built an environment where teaching was not a profession but a sacred seva (service).
- Character-building — he gave generations a grounding in moral values, love of nation and social responsibility.
- Dedicated retirement — devoting his entire career to this very school, he received his honourable retirement from here.
- Social service — even after retirement, he remained actively engaged in the upliftment of society.
An exemplary teacher
Revered Sir was never merely an administrator — he was a teacher first, and a headmaster thereafter. Going into classrooms to teach himself, remembering each student's name, giving extra time and affection to weaker students — this was his daily sadhana. To him, every student was a possibility; a bud to be nurtured by his patient devotion.
Guruji, your affection will always walk with me
The very first lamp of my journey in education was lit by the hands of Late Revered Shri Nagaram ji Choudhary. Today, as I bid him final farewell in my capacity as Principal of this very school, every moment of those years flashes before my eyes.
When I took my very first step into this school as a teacher, it was revered Guruji who became my first mentor. Service thereafter carried me forward through several roles — Senior Teacher, Lecturer, Vice-Principal, and today, Principal — and by the beautiful irony of destiny, after each of these promotions, I returned, again and again, to this very school, to his shade and gracious presence. His affection, his guidance, and his discipline are the very foundation of my entire service-life.
To me he was not merely a senior colleague — he was a Guru, a guardian and an ideal. I will feel his absence every single day — but his teachings, his dedication, and his far-sighted vision will live on in every single brick of this school.
Revered Guruji, wherever you are — my humblest pranaam. 🙏
In the memory of former students
Throughout the day, Revered Sir's many former students — serving the nation today as doctors, teachers, farmers, officers and entrepreneurs across India — poured in heartfelt tributes through messages and calls. The sentiment was the same from every voice: "Without Revered Sir, we would not be where we are today."
"A tree does not shelter itself; it grows its shade for others." — Revered Sir was such a banyan, under whose cool shade generations were shaped.
The school family's pledge
At today's Moun Sabha, the entire school family humbly pledged to embody — in our daily conduct — the elevated values of education, discipline and service that Revered Sir planted. His sacred contribution will remain ever-luminous in the memory and conscience of this institution.
