क्या हुआ — पूरी कहानी

₹999 जाते ही अगला email: 'background verification fee ₹2500 (refundable on joining)'।
फिर 'laptop access licence ₹4500'।
फिर 'income-tax PAN linking ₹3000'।
5-6 emails के बाद कुल ₹15-25,000 जा चुके। फिर सब communication बंद।
TCS iON से बाद में confirm करने पर पता चलता है — आपका नाम उनके records में है ही नहीं।
Once ₹999 lands, next email: 'background verification fee ₹2,500 (refundable on joining)'.
Then 'laptop access licence ₹4,500'.
Then 'income-tax PAN linking ₹3,000'.
After 5-6 emails, ₹15-25,000 is gone. Then all communication stops.
Confirming with TCS iON later reveals your name was never in their records.

क्या करना चाहिए था

✓ Sender का domain हमेशा ध्यान से देखें — एक अक्षर का फ़र्क़ ही धोखे का प्रवेश है।
✓ किसी भी offer letter को कंपनी की official career page पर जाकर verify करें।
✓ Internshala / LinkedIn पर 'Report this listing' — ज़रूर करें।
✓ Always inspect the sender's domain carefully — one-character differences are the gateway of every phishing scam.
✓ Verify every offer letter on the company's official careers page.
✓ Report the listing on Internshala / LinkedIn.

धोखा हो जाए तो — न्याय का रास्ता

ये कदम तुरंत उठाएँ। पहले 24 घंटे ही 'सुनहरे घंटे' (golden hour) कहलाते हैं — इस अवधि में action लेने पर पैसे की recovery एवं scammer के खाते को freeze करना संभव है।

1. 1930 — National Cyber Crime Helpline — तुरंत 1930 पर call करें (24×7×365 toll-free, MHA / I4C द्वारा संचालित)। Bank account नंबर, transaction ID, mode of payment एवं scammer का नंबर तैयार रखें। यह helpline 'Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System' से जुड़ी है — call के दौरान scammer के account को freeze किया जा सकता है।
2. cybercrime.gov.in — ऑनलाइन शिकायत (NCRP) — National Cybercrime Reporting Portal पर शिकायत दर्ज करें। 1930 कॉल के बाद 24 घंटे के अंदर full details, screenshots एवं transaction IDs upload करें। Acknowledgement number ज़रूर सहेजें — आगे की हर step में काम आएगा।
3. बैंक को सूचना दें — RBI का 'limited liability' नियम — RBI के 6 जुलाई 2017 के परिपत्र (DBR.No.Leg.BC.78/09.07.005/2017-18) के अनुसार — (i) यदि सूचना 3 कार्य-दिवसों में दी जाए: ग्राहक की liability शून्य; (ii) 4 से 7 कार्य-दिवस: सीमित liability (RBI table के अनुसार); (iii) 7 दिन से अधिक: बैंक की board-approved policy लागू। शिकायत के बाद बैंक 10 कार्य-दिवसों में राशि credit करने को बाध्य।
4. स्थानीय Cyber-Crime Cell में FIR — अपने ज़िले के Cyber-Crime Police Station पर FIR दर्ज कराएँ। NCRP acknowledgement number साथ ले जाएँ। यह अदालती कार्रवाई एवं recovery — दोनों के लिए अनिवार्य।
5. Sanchar Saathi (Chakshu) — scammer का नंबर block — sancharsaathi.gov.in/sfc पर Department of Telecommunications (DoT) के Chakshu module में scammer का call/SMS/WhatsApp नंबर report करें। DoT verification के बाद उस mobile connection एवं handset को block करता है — अगले शिकार बचते हैं।
6. RBI Integrated Ombudsman — बैंक से समाधान न मिले तो — यदि 30 दिनों में बैंक संतोषजनक उत्तर न दे, तो cms.rbi.org.in पर 'Reserve Bank — Integrated Ombudsman Scheme, 2021' के अंतर्गत शिकायत दर्ज करें। यह एक स्वतंत्र, निःशुल्क अपील-तंत्र है।
7. NALSA / DLSA — निःशुल्क विधिक सहायता — Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 के तहत समाज के कमज़ोर वर्गों एवं cyber-fraud पीड़ितों को नि:शुल्क वकील की सहायता का अधिकार है। NALSA Helpline: 15100 (toll-free)। राजस्थान निवासी DLSA बालोतरा / RSLSA जयपुर से सीधा संपर्क कर सकते हैं।
8. साक्ष्य सुरक्षित रखें — हर screenshot, SMS, call recording, transaction email, bank statement, scammer का UPI ID एवं number — एक folder में रखें। कुछ भी delete न करें — ये court में हर चरण पर काम आएँगे।
